Jeff! i'm so happy for you. when we spoke the last two weekends i don't recall you mentioning it, and since i am just now reading your travel blog (which i LOVE, btw) i'm now learning of your feat.

Housewarming AND Congratulations party are in order!debbiesnaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13648035012649783651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28061513.post-57980310967910070002010-06-14T05:22:25.276-07:002010-06-14T05:22:25.276-07:00Mazel Tov, Jeff!

So Kol HaKavod for reaching this stage!

Allow me to recall two previous incidents from your previous career.

I think I was with you the day your CA Bar reults arrived in the mail (not that there was really much doubt you'd pass) but I recall walking up to your condo mailbox and seeing your shaking hands open the envelope which the sadists at the CA Bar designed to require at least a Masters Degree in Hermeneutics to open. Your life sat in that envelope and I think I recall at least a 3-step process to open the damn thing to get at the all important "Congratulations you passed" info. Seems like a lifetime ago, huh?

I think it was that same visit where you showed me an article in one of the local coffee shop rags about the 10 worst jobs for first year grads in DC. High on the list (#1 or 2) was First year associate at A and P! (Someone must have talked to the paper.)

Anyway after 16 years you seem to be in a far better place, so congratulations! Onward!Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13505479489326808400noreply@blogger.com
